Combined Calumet Hockey Association / CCJHA 16 U B team

The CCJHA/Calumet Hockey Association is proud to announce the creation of a U16 B team in our area.  The  purpose of this team is to create another opportunity for U16 players to play. Practices will start next week. Please check the CCJHA website for schedule details. Also, a notification email will be sent to you once scheduled.

All players will need to be USA Hockey Registered and also registered with the CCJHA or Calumet's Hockey Association.  The fee for the year will be $600 for CCJHA.  We will prorate this with 1/6th of the fee required up front.  If the team does not get off the ground, the unspent portion of this will be rebated back to you.  If there is enough interest it will be applied to the annual fee for the year.

The goal will be to have a 45 game +/- schedule.  We have had preliminary talks with Marquette, Green Bay, and some Wisconsin teams, this will be finalized as we move forward.

The purpose of this email is to notify all players at this age level that potentially this would be another option for them to consider.  So please pass the word to your friends and look for upcoming details regarding our ice time. Once we learn more of the number of kids this will impact we will finalize the details in terms of scheduling, both practice and games, coaches, expectations etc.

If you are interested, please register ASAP to allow us to gauge the interest.

Please contact any hockey board member to find out what sections remain available for sponsorship.

Thanks for your support in keeping youth hockey as affordable as possible and continuing the Calumet Hockey tradition.

Auto Pro 2017-18 Bantam B State Champs

Congratulations to the Auto Pro Bantam B State Champs.

The team went undefeated in the tournament which was played in Hancock this past weekend, and won the championship in convincing fashion 7-1 over Alpena.

The team played an unselfish brand of hockey that was fun to watch. The HoCo was packed with Calumet people cheering on the champs.
