The third annual Great Pasty Chase 5k Run/Walk is being hosted on Saturday, June 29 in downtown Calumet as part of Main Street Calumet’s PastyFest celebration. This year’s race is sponsored by Portage Health, and will once again be a fundraiser for the Calumet Wolverines Senior “A” Hockey Club.

Registration will open at 8:30 a.m. on the corner of 5th Street and Portland Street. All racers will start together at 9:30. Registration is $10. Entry includes a pasty from Old School Baking Company at PastyFest and a giveaway from Portage Health. There is no pre-registration available.

The 10th annual PastyFest celebration will follow the race with a parade at 11 a.m., pasty bake off at 1 p.m. and a whole slew of activities at Agassiz Park in downtown Calumet throughout the day.
