Travel Program
– This program mixes recreation and competition, but with more
emphasis on competition. It is an extension of the Initiation
Program’s philosophy where players are challenged more to
enhance skill development. Some associations refer to these
programs as their “competitive” league. These teams play an
average of 30 to 60 games per year. Players are selected for
travel teams from the combined pool of players in the Calumet
Hockey Association (CHA) and the Copper Country Junior Hockey
Association (CCJHA) who wish to try-out each fall.
2008-2009 Tryouts begin
August 25th @ MTU SDC MacInnes Arena
