Calumet Hockey Association Philosophy
Hockey is one of the many team sports offered
in our community. Team sports teach many of lifes lessons in a fun
atmosphere. Some of the many benefits include:
-
New friendships for
participants and their parents
-
Skill development
-
Physical activity
and exercise
-
Positive results of
practice and hard work
-
Teamwork and
cooperation
-
Joy of success with
a group
-
Experiencing and
handling pressure (older participants)
-
Enjoy, learn, and
understand a sport for a lifetime of enjoyment as a participant
and a spectator
-
Great winter
activity, registration fees only cost about $2.50 per hour over
the course of the year. This includes the cost of ice time,
coaching, and referees. A great bargain compared to many
recreational activities.
