Question: My son is in
first year mites. Do I need to buy hockey pants or will he be
given some? |
| Answer:
In the past, the Calumet Hockey Association has
provided pants to first year mites. This was a service that
was done because pants were issued to match the jersey colors.
This practice is no longer in effect for the following reasons.
1. Buying pants for an entire mite program is expensive, and
would lead to an increase in player registration. 2.
Virtually all players are wearing black pants. 3. A
pair of pants for your mite should cost you around $30.00, and
will last for more than one season. |

| Question:
When is public skating? |
| Answer:
Currently, public or open skating is not held or
sponsored by the Calumet Hockey Association. There is
however an adult only skating session on Wednesdays from 10-11am
at the Armory. Public skating is held at the George Gipp
Arena in Laurium. These sessions usually begin on
Thanksgiving weekend. Call Laurium Village (337-1600) for
more information. |
